Pipeline & Civil is an employee-owned company, with shares held by Senior Management and Supervisory staff, ensuring hands-on attention from senior leaders in every project. Over a third of our team proudly celebrate at least 10 years of service, reflecting our commitment to hiring and retaining the best talent. The Pipeline Group Board comprises major shareholders and an independent director, bolstered by expert board advisors contributing to key decisions.

Ross is an experienced Director, Board Chairman & Senior Executive who is acutely aware of difference between governance vs management and requisite dynamics between Board/Chair/CEO/senior executives. Many years’ senior executive experience in a range of industries including electricity, heavy & light manufacturing, construction, contracting, logistics, distribution, marketing/sales.
He is highly experienced and has visible leadership in health and safety including corporate systems/reporting, behavioural/cultural change, site management & supervision to build a strong, engaged, Zero Harm culture where safety is top priority & results achieved.
Ross has a proven track record leading large teams/businesses through significant organisational change including business restructures, mergers and acquisitions, periods of significant business growth and market development. Ross has led many businesses through very difficult times/change by being a highly visible, supportive and straight-shooting leader. Communicates both good news and the tough messages openly and tactfully which engenders confidence.
He is highly capable dealing with conflict & disparate groups in difficult & tense situations, especially when significant tact & diplomacy required. He is also experienced in formal strategic planning & practical implementation to achieve ongoing stakeholder engagement, including formal strategic models & approaches to bring vision & strategy to life. Ross is very focused on results (financial, operational, people & customer excellence). On top of that Ross gets buy-in and engagement from multiple stakeholders with diverse interests by applying highly developed emotional intelligence skills to build rapport, goodwill and engagement.
He has many years’ managing close relationships with boards of directors, shareholders, customers, staff, unions, industry associations, community organizations, as well as political representatives and the media.
