Description
Construction of new overflow capabilities to allow offspec water to be quickly discharged to waste, and then return the plant to normal operation. This required a range of work to be undertaken:
- CLS Pipelaying
- Removal of a section of 1962OD CLS pipe and capping
- Drainage up to 1800NB RCRRJ pipes
- Pipe Jacking using TBM, 1050NB
- Large shafts up to 8m deep
- Insitu Concrete structures up to 6m deep
- Pneumatic actuated penstocks up to 2.5m x 2.0m
- Electrical instrumentation and controls
- Air system upgrade
- Supply of three custom built 3000l air receivers
