General  Manager

Hugh is a Civil Engineer with over 20 years experience in constructing pipelines, roads, bridges, subdivisions and landfills.

As General Manager Hugh is focused on delivering consistently excellent results for clients. He has a passion for people and the maintaining the culture of the business.


Operations Manager

Antony is a Civil Engineer with over 25 years experience working on a range of civil and pipeline projects in New Zealand and abroad.

Antony leads our team of project managers and engineers. He has delivered large range of projects including pipelines, bridges and pump stations.


Technical Director

Peter has over 28 years experience across a range of civil engineering projects.

He enjoys the challenges posed by particularly complex or difficult work, when developing practical, safe and cost-effective methodologies are of paramount importance.


Construction Manager

Andrew is a Civil Engineer with over 25 years experience working on hundreds of civil engineering and pipeline projects.

Andrew constructs high quality pipelines for our key clients. His expertise includes laying and commissioning large diameter HDPE rising mains and CLS watermains.


Finance Manager

Agnes is an experienced qualified CA who has worked within banking, investment, and Insurance industry in New Zealand.

She is extremely meticulous with an eye for detail and positive outlook in often complex financial landscapes.


Office Manager

Shona has over 22 years experience across a range managerial, PA, event co-ordination and administrative experience.

As skilled administrator with first class front of house customer focus, Shona is the glue that holds the office together. And her baking rocks!


HSQE Manager

Steve is an energetic professional with skills in occupational health, safety and environmental management.

His key focus is improving safety culture through leadership, workable safety management systems and a clear focus on our people’s needs.


Commercial Manager

Andy is a Civil Engineer with over 16 years experience working on a range of civil engineering projects in New Zealand and abroad as a civil engineering consultant and a Project Manager.

Andy combines his interest in sustainability with commercial management.

Prudent governance has been a key element of our success to date.

Our recipe has been to build long term relationships and focus unrelenting on quality.

Pipeline & Civil is an employee owned business with nine shareholders representing senior management and long serving front line supervisors. This model has proved to directly correlate to positive project outcomes.

Employee ownership provides a strong culture of succession planning and focus on long term sustainability of the business, avoiding the focus on short term results prevalent in many larger organisations.

The Pipeline Group board is comprised of the major shareholders in the business and an independent director.  We also rely on several expert board advisors who contribute to key decisions.  Our current board members are:
